23rd June 2004 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: F4 to F6 Surf / Sea State: 50cm Waves Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 15 Weather: Cloudy +Squalls Max Speed: Distance Covered: Great to start off with. 4.7 and 100l board. Managed my first really floaty jump today on the half meter waves in the best of it. Some dry and some wet gybes but was really having fun. As for the race well I used my 135 starboard and 6.3m session and ended up dinging the nose..... doh!!!! I'd just gone into 1st place and the nuclear blast suddenly hit and everything was flattened. I abandoned. Mike sat in the water for 10 mins, waited patiently and won the race! I'd was a bit pissed with my nose job. |
